We are The Fireflies, a female Community Choir based in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.
We are a self-funded choir, currently consisting of over 50 members from Cheshire, Wirral and North Wales.
Singing in four-part harmony, we meet weekly to sing for our own pleasure as well as rehearsing for the many public events we are asked to attend. We offer a varied repertoire of music, both accompanied and acapella, including traditional, contemporary, jazz and gospel amongst others.
Our membership varies in ages and we all enjoy music from across the decades.

Our choir is led by our very talented MD, Joe Mann.
Joe joined Fireflies Choir in February 2022.

The Fireflies
Founded in 2009, we are a non-audition, female community choir based in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.
We rehearse every Monday evening at the Salvation Army building, Whitby Road, Ellesmere Port.
